Hi, I’m Jaclyn.

I’ve been working directly with families in the Bay Area since 2008, and I truly enjoy my work. My special focus is in overnight newborn care. I also offer daytime and 24-hour support. My ambition is to bring peace of mind to each client's experience, by providing tailored and reliable care during the “4th trimester”—and sometimes longer!

Complimenting my birthworker training from the International Childbirth Education Association, Cornerstone Doula Trainings, and Natural Resources here in the Bay Area, I’m also Newborn Care Specialist with Newborn Care Solutions, and certified in Infant and Pediatric CPR/First Aid through the Red Cross and the American Heart Association. My company, known as Serenity Night Doulas, is licensed and insured in CA.

I believe in supporting the family as a whole, and I always aim to be receptive to my clients’ individual requests. My personal approach is gentle, calm, and science-based. I’m happy to share and expand my knowledge about safe sleep practices and infant development, and I welcome new opportunities to accommodate diverse parenting styles and needs!

Over the past few years, Serenity Night Doulas has developed a growing team of local Postpartum Doulas and Newborn Care Specialists, with varied specialties and strengths. We work independently, while providing back-up and educational support to one other. Please check back in mid-2025 for website updates with details about other members of our team!

"I can't recommend Jaclyn highly enough. We were around the 4-5 week mark with our first baby, and we realized we just needed some breaks at night - for both our baby's sake and our own health. Jaclyn was very professional and warm at the same time. She's terrific around little ones. We wish we had worked with Jaclyn even sooner!"

— Matt and Carolyn M, San Francisco

“We’ve been working with Jaclyn for the past month helping with our 2-months old daughter. Jaclyn is amazing and she already helps to train our daughter - she’s sleeping 4.5 hours at 7-weeks old.”

— Dmytro D, San Francisco

During my overnight shifts, I anticipate and meet your newborn’s needs on-time, and I calmly aid them in learning to connect their sleep cycles through the night. Often, by the time the newborn stage ends, many babies are predictably sleeping for 6+ hour stretches at night.
